Pacing Guides
Classroom teachers and parents alike may find it helpful to reference our pacing guides for grades TK/PK, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and second grade. We have recommended language arts, math and thematic concepts to follow. Many of the concepts listed on the pacing guides are clickable links to videos or TPT files to enhance your curriculum.
Videos to Start With
For those caring for younger children, a great place to start is our colors and shapes album. These catchy word songs and animated graphics will have your kiddos dancing and singing along in no time.
No matter the age of your children, brain breaks are a hit, ALWAYS! Put on some DannyGo with “Bouncing Time” or KooKoo with “Hot Sauce” and “Superheroes Unite”. Brain breaks are helpful any time of year, any time of day. You can always count on some time for a quick breather and a moment to gather your thoughts before moving along with the day.
Our practice corner provides an even shorter form to concepts like sight words, letter formation and phonics. Use these quick videos to provide an avenue for practice and drills that integrate seamlessly into the day.
One of our favorites here at Heidisongs is the 1-100 song! Put it on at the end of an activity and see if the kids can get cleaned up before the song ends. It may take a few repeats the first couple of times but we promise they will get better at it, and even get some counting practice in all at once!

We offer classroom timers to integrate into your day at 1, 5 and 10 minute increments. Commercial free, easy to use and at the ready to help you with managing the day.
